Use the Service Management module. You can choose the option to bill Quoted or T&M.

If you set your job up as a "quick bill" and then use the Billing Module, you can bill it out as Time & Material. It will collect all cost (labor and materials) and create a billing for it.

Your options depend upon the modules you own. If you own Contracts (CN) and Billing (BL) you have options for billing by "Time & Materials" or "Cost Plus to a Maximum". See the HELP files in both applications and click on the "index" tab to search for "Time & Material". You'll find information there that explains each method and the necessary steps to setup and process those types of billings based on your actual cost transactions entered through AP or JC. D.Moore, quick bill jobs are manual entry only. If you wanted to automate the process, you would still set up the job in JC as "Use Contracts" and then set up a T&M contract in Contracts. This also requires all the appropriate setup in both JC and BL for the T&M workflow.
