2014 Employee SS/Medicare - change for 3rd party sick pay

I entered in some 3rd party sick/insurance payments that we as employer were responsible for SS/Medicare-ER portion. The system calculated EE portion and posted to employee record (followed KB 18834).

Now the Deposit Summary for QTD and TYD have the employee contribution that we DO NOT have to pay as this is covered by 2rd party.

How can I correct on employee record so we only show ER portion for 941 and employee W-2?

John, You can find the solution in knowledgebase article 18834.

Note: You must manually adjust the 941 Schedule B to include these amounts.

There is a field on the 941 for you to make the employee portion paid by third party adjustment.

Correct! I was getting confused thinking that I wanted to show LESS Employee contribution for SS/Medicare! The 3rd party is only reporting and paying employee portion NOT reporting or sending employee a W-2!
