Document Management and Timberscan - How to utilize both?

We currently use TImberscan for the sole purpose of scanning in invoices to attach to invoices in AP for historical purposes. The drawback to this method is that you are unable to see these invoices when doing inquires of commitments and the invoices associated with those commitments. It would be great if we could utilize the "Launch Query" feature within Sage!

Has anyone used Document Management recently or has this module fallen by the wayside? What other solutions/software are others using out there today?
