Hi Lizdodson - which application in Sage 300 CRE were you posting?  Is there anything in the new file (use an inquiry, entries, entries by batch or transactions to determine and select new file).  Are you set to automatically print to file (tools, options, journals)?

I was in payroll, my inquiry tab doesn't have any of those choices, and it has always printed automatically before.

    Hi Liz -

In Payroll, lets make sure everything posted by running Inquiry, check information, check activity.  Select new file - are there any checks in this inquiry?  If there are and the status is printed, they should post so post again and check for a posting journal.  If they do not have a status of printed - then you need to complete the normal print check steps.  If you need help, with this process, please contact support.

If the checks are not in the new file, check the same inquiry on the current file and condition by Period End Date - if the checks are there - then they did post and you can print reports that will give you the information on the posting journals by following knowledgebase article 33832.

If the checks are not in the new or current file, please contact support for further help!

    Have a great day!

You  may want to check the System Log. Sometimes the post will seem to run perfectly, but if there's a problem, it will not post the entries. For example, it won't post if the date on the checks isn't in the month that Payroll is in. The System Log can be difficult to use because it has all the tasks across the entire company for all the modules, but you can filter it or sort it to see only the Payroll entries. I usually try to Post entries again and then check the log right away so my task is at the top of the system log.
