My Assistant - emailing paystubs

I am wondering if anyone uses Sages's My Assistant for 300CRE to email employees their pay stubs? I would like to hear some feedback about My Assistant (and its other functions). I am looking for a seamless process... thanks

    We have been using MyAssistant for a few years.  We bought it specifically to email the employees pay stubs.  This works well.  Once we started using it we found many other uses for it.  Each month it automatically emails budgets and job cost report to the managers and supers.  A weekly email is sent to managers showing what invoices were sent out and what cash receipts were received in the prior week.

    These are only a few of the things we use MyAssistant to do.  I highly recommend it.

    Thanks for your feedback. Someone mentioned that MyAssistant doesn't automatically email  the stubs - have you found that to be the case?

    We manually run the pay stub task each week but there is no reason it can't be set to run automatically.

    For the paystubs we prefer to make sure payroll is completely done before we run the task - that is why we don't have it run automatically.

    Sage MyAssistant can send it on demand or it will automatically email the stubs if you set a schedule for it. There has been some confusion in that it will not automatically send an email at the end of the task. For example, it will not automatically send an email when you complete the generate direct deposit task or post payroll.

    Many people will schedule it to run the day or the night of the effective date so that it will arrive the same time as the actual direct deposit. I will also note that I find most people use the feature to password protect the attachment using the built-in formula for the last 4 digits of the Social Security Number.

    As of version 12.1, there is a report attached to the default task, Send employees their pay statements (report attached) . You may also want to search in the knowledgebase for ID 21856 (How do I access the Payroll Direct Deposit report or faster modified versions for MyAssistant?)

    We can not find ID 21856 in the knowledgebase.  Has it be removed?  We are needing some assistance with modifiying the report that is attached.

    The artcile is still there. You must have a valid support plan and be logged into the knowledgebase (https://support.na.sage.com) to access the gated content. If you have not yet registerd for the portal, you will need to first click Sign up for an account.

    You can search for 21856 or for How do I access the Payroll Direct Deposit report or faster modified versions
    for MyAssistant?  If you search for "ID 21856" you will not get any results.

    The reports are Crystal reports and would need to be modified using Crystal Reports.
