What is the change that your needing to make? I'm assuming you're attempting make this change in Change Entries?

I tried to go in to tasks - create charges - miscelleaneous entries, and the charge I am trying to get rid of (it was a duplicate charge) does not show under open items.  There is one charge with the amount of $1,554.  The open item statement shows $3,108 and under Change Entries it shows two charges of $1,554.

yes - I wqant to void a duplicate entry.  I was trying in Change Entries.  See new post below.

Did you check to see if there's anything unposted for that lease? You can do that in Inquiry > Transaction Information and select the New file.

If there's nothing unposted, continue with using Miscellaneous Entries to enter a charge adjustment CHGA. Select the Charge Type to adjust, enter the Transaction Date and Accounting Date you want to post to and enter the Charge Date the same as the charge you're trying to adjust.

Disregard this post.  I called support this morning and got it resolved.  

April I called support this morning and was able to get one of the charges voided by using today's date.  I was using the original date and that was the problem.  I did try your suggestion, but was unsucessful when trying to use the 2011 date.
