Problem: ODBC Syntax error when referencing Check column of table APM_MASTER__INVOICE_PAYMENT.Check, while other columns respond as expected
Background
- 32-bit ODBC driver – installed OK
- Sage Role/user verified – OK
- DSN – User DSN and System DSN both tested
Integration project requirement includes the following data elements
- Vendor
- Payment_ID
- Description
- Invoice
- Amount_Paid
- Check
Observations
- All columns required are present in APM_MASTER__INVOICE_PAYMENT as viewed by MS Query
- All columns EXCEPT Check may be Queried.
- When Check is included, a syntax error results. This error suggests that the underlying Data File does not contain proper reference to Check column.
