MyAssistant - how to set the data folder for RD reports

SOLVED

In MyAssistant - Task - Email, when I select Attach Sage 300 CRE  Reports I get the message:

No Sage 300 CRE reports were found.

The Sage 300 CRE Report List is not available.  Confirm that the Sage 300 CRE user name and password in File > Options are correct; and confirm that the MyAssistant and Sage 300 CRE software are compatible.

When I go to MyAssistant File>Options>Sage 300 CRE Data Folders, I see that the Sage 300 CRE Folder Location is incorrect.  I think it is pointing to a new folder.  When I click "Test Connection" I get the message The Sage 300 CRE data connections are configured properly.

I know where the RD reports are located, and the reports run correctly in Sage Desktop.  How do I change MyAssistant to use the correct path to retrieve the list of reports?

    billwagon,

    • If it is the wrong company all together, you will need to change that on the MyAssistant server in the MyAssistant Configuration Manager.
    • If the location is wrong, you can click on the elipses button [...] on the far right of the Sage 300 CRE Folder Location column. This will bring up your Sage 300 CRE Data folders.
    • If the location is still wrong, then this is because Accounting is pointing to the wrong location and you would need to correct that on the Open Company List in Accounting.

This has nothing to do with the No Sage 300 CRE reports were found. All of the reports are in a global location and are independent of company folder.

The Error and corresponding message are accurately indicating that you must have Sage 300 CRE security enabled in order to use this feature. This is why you are being directed to verify the username and password in File>Options.

If you do have have security enabled and are still getting this error, you are most likely going to want to contact support. From what we have seen, there is a discrepency between your Global folder and your Report folder menu files that need to be cleaned up.
