Since the over-under extended report doesn't update for changes in cost to complete that are due to budget variances, what is the best way to update the WIP calculation when multiple jobs are in process? Running a cost to complete report for every job seems very cumbersome, and the value of the over-under extended report seems limited since budget variances aren't considered in it's calculation of WIP.

Hi Derek, we're using Sage 100 Contractor 2014, Version 19.6.41.0

You should be updating your jobs budgets as the work progresses through the change order module.
Or
You can enter temporary budget adjustments in the change orders to update the WIP report. I usually set up a change order type called WIP ADJ
