Hi James...Overtime hours are not computed at the full workers comp rate. The overtime differential hours are excluded. In other words, if someone works 1.5 hours, .5 being overtime, the work comp is computed at 1.5 hours of regular rate.

Okay that precipitates three additional questions:
1) Why would that be considered a good thing?
2) Is G.L. computed the same way?
3) How do I change Sage to compute Work Comp and G.L. using Total Wages, since that is what our bill is based on?

If you're paying WC on total wages and not straight hours, get a different carrier.
As for GL, just ask your carrier for the correct % to calc on. It's never going to be perfect due to all the extra fees they tack on to both policies.
