If your beginning balance doesn't match your ending balance, you might want to look at kb article 39456 in our customer portal at support.na.sage.com

Your starting balance should be whatever the starting balance of the actual statement you got from the bank.  That number comes from your beginning Trial Balances that you entered when you went live.  When you reconcile the c/c statement you only clear what shows on the statement, and the end balance should tie perfectly.  The available credit does not play into Sage at all.  Did you enter the payments you made during the month in Sage?  It sounds like they are missing.
