Typically, a report is locked by Sage if it (1) is an accounting report where the layout is GAAP approved (like the Balance Sheet) or (2) where there is custom programming to help the report go faster/report information that is more difficult to get to through the standard report writer. You can generally know a report is going to be locked if it has the check box, or option buttons on the report printing screen.

This report that your asking for has multiple detail boxes (it's giving you the detail for Invoices and Change orders), which is why the report is locked.
