Reviewing the system requirements documentation for Sage 100 Contractor 2014 v19.7, virtualization is supported.  However, looking at the system requirements documentation for Sage 100 Contractor 2016 v20.x, virtualization is not mentioned.  And when attempting to install v20.x, SQL is supposed to be on the same server.  I understand SQL Express can be used; but for performance purposes, full SQL is better.

What happened to virtualization support?  And why force SQL to be on the same machine?
