Is there anyway to change or add a job number to a PO while still in open status?

Sometimes we do not know the job number but still need to issue PO number. Is there anyway to go back and add job number while PO is still in open status?

Unfortunately that field is not editable after the PO is originally created

However if there have not been any invoices put against that PO you could copy the PO record then delete the original paste the copy as a new record and then assign the job.

The only issue is that the po is technically a new record number.
