Printing New Checks

SUGGESTED

I have received new checks.  The spacing is off when I print them.  How can I change the spacing?

HI,  you have to modify the FORM for that specific report in the Print window.  You will then need to safe that Modified form.  They modify the REPORT so that it uses the saved Modified Form as its default.

When modifying the FORM (Edit>Form Design), right click on each FIELD and choose properties.

Set the Positions - Top and left- for each FIELD and then Print a TEST on a blank sheet of paper.

(Make sure to write down the Position coordinates for each FIELD)

Compare the TEST PRINTED CHECK to the Actual Check by overlaying the PRINTED copy with the Actual Copy and Note what needs to move up or down.

Repeat this process to all fields are aligned and write down the Coordinates for each field on the check because you may need to format other check forms depending on if it is Payroll, AP, General Checks or other.   Also, suggest recording the Report FORM title for future reference.
