Sage Paperless Construction: Notification about issue and new version

There is an update now available that fixes an issue recently identified in Sage Paperless Construction versions 6.2.0.12, 6.2.0.13, and 6.2.0.14

Issue

If you entered an Accounts Payable invoice in Sage Paperless Construction that included retainage (or a holdback), Sage Paperless Construction may have applied an incorrect amount against the Accounts Payable ledger account. The amount was overstated by the retainage or holdback amount, resulting in the transaction being out of balance. 

Solution

If you were affected by this issue:

  1. Update to Sage Paperless Construction version 6.2.0.15 immediately. Follow the steps in KB 77757 to update to this latest version of Sage Paperless Construction.
  2. To correct out-of-balance transactions in your accounting program, contact Sage 100 Contractor Customer Services at 800-866-8049.
