Sage 100 Contractor: v20.3 Update available

1 minute read time.

Software Notice 16-L-2 for US and Canada was sent on Thursday, September 29, 2016.

What's new in version 20.3

• Company administrators can view change history in many records. This capability can be helpful when you need to determine the source or the timing of a change in a record.

• The Options menu in the 6-6-1 Purchase Orders window provides a new option for closing purchase orders automatically when you post a receipt that reduces all quantities to zero.

• The API now supports adding and removing attachments on all Sage 100 Contractor forms that support attachments and have API support for Add, Modify, and Delete.

• Additional enhancements and fixes as described in the most recent Release Notes.

Important! Version 20.3 supports Windows Server 2008 R2. However, it does not support Windows Server 2008 and Small Business Server 2008 because they do not support .NET 4.6.1. For information about new system requirements (including supported versions of Windows), see KB article 77818.

Review the most recent Release Notes for more detailed information about these changes.

Year-end supported versions
This year end, we will be supporting versions 19.7 and 20.3

Considering going live with Sage 100 Contractor (SQL) before year end?
To ensure that you have the best possible introduction to Sage 100 Contractor (SQL), we suggest that you start using version 20.3 in a live, production environment well before year end, when demands on your business partner and Sage Customer Support are very high.
Important! If you do not have time before mid-November to migrate your data from version 19.7 and test it in a non-production environment, we recommend that you delay "going live" with version 20.3 until February 2017, when your business partner and Customer Support are better able to help you should you need assistance implementing version 20.3.
