1  Does your data match the number in AR -> Customer Inquiry-> History ?

2 Have you double checked your export settings?  there are 3 data fields that start with YTD (sales, adjustments, Finchgs) under AR Customer.

Yes the data matches the number in AR/Customer INquiry/ History.

It must be related to our Fiscal year ending 9/30/2014.  

The YTD figures seem to be for the first two months of the new Fiscal Year.

How can I get the data for the last fiscal year?

When the last month of the fiscal year is closed (in your case Sept), many historical fields reset.

You will need to restore a backup from Sept 30th before your month close.

I restore EOY data as a new company like Zabc2014

Z - moves the name of the company to the bottom of the selection list in BW

abc - is the company name

2014 - fiscal year of the data

I then would also have the security rights changed on all users to prevent the altering of this data too.

I noticed in the field chooser the fields Sales2months back ---> all the way from 1-12 .

Could I grab this information for the appropriate months and then just sum them up in Excel?

I also had the same question for Vendors.

The fields to choose from are a little different.  ie - it has History 1, History 2, History 3 etc

What are your thoughts about this idea?

It should give better numbers then the "nothing" you have.

I would calendar this "YTD" stuff for late September 2015 too.

If you have created a custom export and you are not getting the results you are expecting, then I would recommend calling support at 800-447-5700.  They would be to review you selection and help determine what may be causing your issue.
