Simple Copy of Database and Files

SUGGESTED

We have been able to locate anything exactly on this.

Here is the situation.  We have a disk drive that fails to boot and contains "Sage BusinessWorks Accounting Standard Edition"  We are able to access all the files on that drive but due to a specific disk error cannot boot the disk.

So we have created a new machine, installed programs, etc. to the new machine and copy documents and other files to the new machine.

All other installed software is working just perfectly.

In the case of Sage, however, we have installed and activated the product.  It comes up with a nice empty database and it looks great.

We then copy the "C:/Sage/BWData"

When we restart we get an error that it cannot find a specific named database.

So what are we missing?  Is there some other directory or perhaps registry setting that needs to be update?

Thanks in advance for any suggestions or perhaps a link to how this done.

Thanks
