Credit memo detail

Is there any plans in the future to change the credit memos and debit memos, so you can put more than 60 character explanations ... You can write books in invoicing, but nothing in credit and debit memos' where you need to .. Not even an option for "visible or hidden comments" ..

Also -- is there plans to put the ability to create a %g restocking charge for credit memos ?? Currently you can't apply a positive figure to Credit memos' and if we create a debit memo to "offset" .. first off its just more paperwork, and secondly the customer's ignore the debit memo's and just take the credit totals ..

However .. this questions is MAINLY for the hopes that there is something in the future for adding more "discussion" on Credit and Debit memos ... also so we don't have to pull the paperwork in order to read the hand written explanation ??

    There currently are no plans to be able to enter line items on credit memos. (visible or not)  It just allows summary information. You could enter a note on the customer and reference the credit memo.  That way you can look at the customer notes for information on the credit memo.

    You would need to enter a separate invoice for the restocking charge.

    Thanks .. but entering information into customer notes, doesn't tell the customer anything .. ?? and a separate invoice for restocking charge, only detours the customer to "overlook it" .. and take the entire credit .. We'll just figure out a way on our own .. It would be nice if that option would be put into the plans for future however ..
