i have not closed Journal entries in G/L for 12months, so while posting it indicates that i cannot post for more than 12months without closing for the months. i decided to go back and close, then this error appeared.while closing G/L For month of June 2015 ([Pervasive][ODBC Client Interface][LNA][Pervasive][ODBC Engine Interface][Data Record Manager]The application cannot find the key value (Btrieve error 5))"  Any ideas?

    June 2015 is more than 12 months back (Your 19 closes from Feb 2017) 2015 = 7 / 2016 =12 / 2017 = 2

    1 Backup 2 times - a flash drive and the local hard drive are good choices
    2. Reboot the server
    3. attempt the close again

    if it fails call Sage Tech support
    they will walk you thru how to re-index or correct the problem or addition steps

    Btrieve status 5 error generally means you had a failed close. You need to restore a backup prior to performing that close and reprocess the close again. See Knowledge Base article #18639 Error "Record has a key field containing a duplicate value. Btrieve Status 5" when closing General Ledger.
