W-2 Wages

Is there a way to pull the figure for W-2 wages (Box 1) from BusinessWorks in a report or export?  We use a spreadsheet for ACA compliance and reporting.  This spreadsheet contains a column for W-2 Wages to calculate affordability codes for reporting.  Last year we had to manually enter each employee's wages in this column by flipping through all W-2 forms.  This leaves lots of room for error.  I was hoping there was a way to export this information (or at least pull a report showing only those figures) to make entry in our spreadsheet easier.

    Technically there is no official task that exports out w2 box 1, since it is actually a calculated field. What may work for you....when you are processing W2s and are in the "grid" (the screen that looks like an excel spreadsheet). You can actually copy rows and columns from the grid into an excel spreadsheet. When in the grid, just like in excel, select the column you want to copy, right click and select copy. Then paste it in an excel spread sheet. You can do that for the employee name,column 1, etc.. but you can only do 1 column at a time.

    Thank you so much for this!! My supervisor is actually the person who normally processes the W-2 forms, so I had no idea this "grid" of information was even available. This should work wonderfully!
