Cash Management, Bank Transactions, Does DO NOT post to G/L mean Cash Account will not be credited either?...

SOLVED

If I do a Bank Transaction entry as a bank charge and choose NOT to post to G/L checkbox, does that mean nothing will post to the GLs the bank account GL or the offsetting expense (or whatever account?). Or, does it mean my GL for the bank account will post a CR entry (to show charge), but it will leave the offsetting account off - meaning it will not post?

OR, does it mean what I am hoping that it will not post the entire CR/DR entry?

You should deselect Post to G/L  only when the transaction has already been (or will be) posted into the general ledger by another module.  When you choose NOT to post to G/L the transaction will only post into your Bank Reconciliation.  No posting will occur in General Ledger
