Hello community,

I'm wondering if it is possible to have a note automatically populate on an order, based on the customer number.

For example, a few of my customers do not require a signature when the order is delivered. I would like for the system to automatically put a note on any order that is started for that customer stating No Signature Required

Is this possible?

are there any feilds on the invoice that you don't use? Such as salesperson or ship via

Yes, we do use those fields. I guess the only way is to add a line to the address field.

That's your best bet for the time being. Unless you can have someone add 1 of the customer feilds to the invoice like the "notes" as it is in the customer detail report.

Hi Amy

I did find a way to add the "notes" from the customer details in the "info" tab by modifying the crystal report called invoice plain paper.rpt

I don't know how to send you a copy of it to try or if you have someone that can just do it from your own office.
