In 99.999 % of the case, yes.

does the costing column show

Costing column does not show at all.

so you have the display cost checked as you said but have you logged out and back in since you have changed it

Just wondering if the column is hidden under another one.  Sometimes if click on a side of the column and move you mouse it will make the column bigger or smaller.  Try to reset module sizing and postiioning  under options for that user.  If it is happening on more then one user you will have to repeat these step for each user.

I've tried reseting modules.  That didn't help.  And yes, I did close BV and re-open.   I'd attach a screen shot, but there doesn't seem to be a facility for that here.

try hovering over the left sideof the sales tax 1 column and if you have a double line between the arrows drag it to the right to see if the column is there.

you can do this on any column just to make sure you have not hidden it by accident

Thanks, that did the trick, but it didn't look like there was any hidden columns there at all.  I just kept using the mouse and jiggling the tax column and it appeared just to the left.
