Sage 50 Pro Accounting 2014.2 from 2011 Accounting Version

I installed Sage 50 Pro yesterday and uninstalled 2011 Accounting Version. I can open 1 of the 2 companies, however I get an error message that reads "This data has been updated to a new file format and is now incompatible with this version of the software. Once you upgrade data to a newer version it works with the new version only".

Nothing was changed, they are both under the same Main company, just 2 divisions. Need help, worked on it 3 hours yesterday.

I would suggest:

Reinstall the Sage 50 Pro 2014.2, and check for updates.

Possibly Windows is still trying to load the 2011 version, or the files were converted to the 2014.3 version and the current installation is the 2014.2.

Are you accessing the database from the SAge50 start-up window or by clicking on the file name? If by clicking on the file name, that would be why Windows is trying to access the file using 2011.
