error message when installing 2017.2 update

SOLVED

I am getting the message when I close Sage that there is the update to 2017.2 available.  I click to install and it gets partway until I get an error message saying Sage is not installed where it should be.   I have not changed the location and it's where the program installed it in the first place.  It says I need to uninstall and reinstall it to c:\Program Files (x86)\Sage 50.   I do have a directory under the program files (x86) directory but it's call Sage 50 Accountant Edition Version 2017 where the program is installed.   I can't change the name of this directory.  Anyone else having any issue with this?

this is the error I get

figured it out.....I was able to temporarily change the folder name. You would think Sage would look in the same folder it created in the first place when I installed the original program.

I ran mine last night and had no problems. I always install to a custom directory on my own machine and it found it without problem, though I installed all versions of 2017 in a row on that particular computer, not just 2017.2.

I have seen in the past that some installs do not complete fully and therefore some registry settings are not created properly. The program location could be one of them.

I also never install using the prompt on closing. I always get my backups myself, then launch the update from the download directory when I am ready.
