I have downloaded the new version of Simply and located the files but I still cannot get it to work. What do I do next?

May I ask you to share with us more information about how Sage 50 2015 not working. Any error message? Does it open when you click the icon or there is no reaction.

Do you mean that you can't get the update to install?
I click and it says sage opening but then it takes me to back-up files to 2014 version...
If the title of the dialog is "Sage 50 - Open Company", then you just need to find the correct file and open it. Assuming you have already done a backup in Sage 50 2014, you should be able to just open it in the new version. If you don't know exactly where it is, then click the drop-down beside the File name: box at the bottom. The last used files should be there.
Or open the file again in Sage 50 2014 and select File, Properties and it will tell you the exact file and location.
