Exporting T4's - zero amounts

I am trying to export my T4 data to my tax software. The employee information exports (name, address, etc) but all of the amounts are zero (i.e. nothing in the boxes). When I run the PIER report all the info is there. Any suggestions?

    We are probably not going to be able to help you much.  We don't know what tax software you are using and how it imports information from Sage 50 or Simply Accounting and how you are exporting the information.  Do you see the information in the exort file?

    Most people use the program to do the T4's not tax software so we are more knowledgeable about this program.  If you let us know what you are using, someone here may have used it and can help but otherwise, you are probably better off asking the question on the tax software forums.  Sorry.

    Sorry, let me clarify. It has nothing to do with the tax software. It has to do with the exporting, the data is not exporting properly. I can get the .xml to export but it only has the employee info none of the pay amounts. I can't get it to export in excel.

    What is the exact menu structure and options you are using to get the report you are exporting?

    As far as I know, only e-Filing the T4's will produce an xml file.  When you first posted, I thought you were opening your file in Sage 50 Canadian, using Reports, Payroll, Employee, Summary, 2013 and selecting the employees applicable.  When the report comes on screen, I thought you were hitting the Export button and selecting the export format you wanted.  XML is not one of the options.
