Printing Payroll Cheques

I go0t a new computer and reinstalled Simply pro 2011 on it and it works fine except that I cant print payroll cheques. It keeps saying that I done have a file name. I selected: Form Type--Custom Simply Form, them Payroll check with YTD totals, then browsed to C;\program files\sage simply accounting pro 2011\forms\payrlchk06.sfm. I used to know how to solve this but I forgot and would appreciate any help.

Hi silverado

If you are trying to print and receive the 'invalid file name' error, please view knowledge base article 260-21118 - Can not print using a Simply Accounting form. Printing does not start or gives an error invalid file or file does not exist..

Thank you for the help it is printing OK now, Another problem is that when I do a sale it posts the GST properly but will not post the actual sale to the Bank Rec. Thanks

It won't show in the bank rec unless you record it as paid and the payment is put to the bank account that is being reconciled in Simply. If the journal entry hits Accounts Receivable, then it will not hit the bank rec.
