Problem with sending Sage feedback ideas

Keith,

I just created a few feedback ideas (505, 506, 507) using the feedback link in Sage help

using this url,
   http://sage50canadian.ideascale.com/a/ideas/search?discussionID=&tag=&query=505&includeArchivedCampaign=true

and entering 505 or 506 or 507 as the keyword, I see the ideas

so I thought, what is idea 504 ? 500 ? 400 ? 300 ?
but the search returns 'no ideas found' even when including archived campaigns

where did they go ?

why does it display only 71 ideas, when over 500 have been submitted ?

Those 71 are the ones they have looked at, evaluated, and have been judged ready for voting.

The process has been taking several months to a year.  By the time some of my ideas have found their way through, I've forgotten all about them.  Often, six months later there's a response that looks like it was generated by a keyword matching program that spits out a couple paragraphs from the online help.  It might be factual, but it sometimes is unrelated to the feedback.

I submitted two feedback items right away when the thing was set up - that the feedback categories "Accounts Receivables" and "Accounts Payables" were incorrect English - 'Accounts' is plural, 'Receivable' and 'Payable' are descriptive adjectives and don't have a quantity, because they're descriptive a quality of the noun 'Accounts'.

Six months later the reply comes back "can't find that anywhere in the program".   My response was a somewhat polite translation of "No sh**, Sherlock., read what I wrote.."

It could be a word-for-word translation of "comptes débiteurs" and "comptes créditeurs".  It's still not correct English, but it's not bad for a non-English speaker.

well - if you were to type in search box in same site 'document management system' you will see my idea which I submitted 2 weeks ago (I think you will see it unless it is only for the person who submitted the idea). The black/white corner tabs says 'waiting for moderator approvals'. If you look at the latest few ideas sent they are all submitted a few months ago. So it would seem that the moderators only look at this site every couple months or so? That's the impression I am getting.

I did subscribe to the emails and when I get them it does say something like 'Accounts Receivables' (lol - they still haven't changed spelling)  has 3 new ideas and 3 new comments. Your comment rRandy is listed as "new" which is Sep/13, another idea that is 'new' was submitted Jan30/13 - but comments are new as posted this week. BTW Randy for yours it says 'This idea is in progress' so am guessing that means they like it and are implementing it 'someday'.

One of the 'new' idea is in 'Industry Specific' and that was submitted way back in Nov1/12 with a new comment posted this week.

I kept a folder of old emails from submissions up to 2011 that were "in progress" so I don't think "Hot" means it's near to burning a hole in someone's desk...

I wonder if there's probably an abandoned folder full of "when are you going to have a Windows version?" questions about the last DOS version.

I can't see your idea... guessing it's only visible to the originator until approved by the moderator

which probably explains why I can't see 300,400,500 etc

um.. the reply I just posted was entered clicking the reply button that is part of Smithco's first submission, why is it displayed at the end of the list (chronological order) instead of the two Smithco submittals (context order)

is there a setting on this site that I missed ?

I don't think so but it would be nice to have indented 'posted by' box beneath the box the reply was made in.
