There is a filter you can check to show / not show adjustments.

Double check the date of the new entry against the start and end dates of the statement.

I found the "Do not show the corrections" button but not the final adjustment amount.  So the correction shows but the NEW amount doesn't.  I also tried making an additional invoice to correct the amount but that didn't show either!!  I've used the 'refresh' button.  I've Closed and reopened the bank rec, and nothing changes.  The only problem I can possibly see is I am adjusting entries from 2013 - not 2014.  I'm sure I've done this before with no problems.

Have you tried running a G/L report for the account you're reconciling, with 'show corrections' off, to make sure it's in that account, and that it's in that date period?  

I think I may know the problem but don't know how to fix it.  I'm trying to set up a POS system with inventory and have changed the Asset Accounts for the credit/debit cards. Rather than leaving everything in the 1060 Chequing Bank Account I changed the cards to their own accounts ie 1084 - Mastercard - Sales.  They are all Subgroup accounts.

I do that myself for some of my clients POS system. you can go by the statement from the Interac provider I transfer the amounts from the 1084 account over to the bank account. Some will do daily deposit so you will show each daily deposit separately when debiting the bank account and one lump sum total when credit the 1084 account. I go online and print off weekly transactions from interac providers website and do this weekly.

If you use the 'Bank Deposit' screen, you may be able to pick the amounts to deposit, then optionally print it out before you post, just as you would when depositing cheques.

Using the G/L as Smithco suggests to debit the deposit account will do the same thing.
