Screen Font

I have recently been provided with a different computer, and since then the size of the screen font is minuscule.  Reports are fine, and I know how to adjust them anyway.   The computer font is set OK and I dont have trouble in any other program.  My IT dept keeps looking for somewhere in Sage to change the font but we cant find anything.

Sage 50, 2013, Release 3

Does anyone have any suggestions or help for me?

There is no adjustment to Sage 50 for the 'screen' size - only for printed reports.

Likely it is the display size on your screed that needs to be reset to a larger display.

Try  Control panel -> Appearance and Personalization -> Display - there you have 3 different sizes to choose from - small, medium, or large

There must be some other issue then.  I do have the main Windows setting set at custom 140%.  (Note the large @150% was too large for other programs).

Do you have any other ideas?  If not, I will have to work with our IT dept to see what else could be wrong.  Thanks.

    Hi,

*Which* screen exactly?   Do you mean *reports* that you are previewing on screen?   Do you mean menus, dialog boxes, help?

On my computer, the menus and dialog boxes in Sage 50 show up in the same font as the menus and dialog boxes in Internet Explorer, because they both use the Windows settings for menus and dialog boxes.

Fonts on some reports are teeny on screen because they're the default 8 point, which is the smallest font that you can get in most Windows dropdown lists.  8 point type is almost unreadably small, and that's on a 32"tv used as a monitor, in 1360 x 768 resolution.

If I'm having trouble viewing a report on screen, I sometimes hit the Print Preview button and then the magnifier.   Three mouse-clicks and any report is the full width of the screen.

    I hope that helps,

    Randy
