Warning you have reached the max number of companies

This warning message was caused by an issue on the Sage servers which was addressed the same day it was reported. You should no longer receive this warning message.

If you are still seeing this message when you open your company file in Sage 50, here are a couple of things to try:

  • Close out of Sage 50 and reopen the program
  • If you still get the message after reopening Sage, you will need to reboot your workstations. If you are on a mulituser platform you must reboot all your machines.

    Does anyone know when this will be fixed? I  did a system restore and disconnected from the Internet which allowed me to work, but this is so unprofessional of Sage and very frustrating.

    This appears to be working again this morning. I have checked with a few that were out yesterday and they are all up again today.

    We had a temporary issue on our web servers over the past weekend that caused an error message about Max number of companies.

    The issue was reported to us on May 23 and resolved the same day..

    You should no longer receive this error message.

    If you are still encountering this problem this morning, you will need to restart your Sage 50 program and the message should go away.
