trouble with opening program from desktop icon-new installation of Sage 50 - 2015 version

Why do I have to right click on my Sage 50 Desktop Icon and select "run as administrator" to access my data?  I used to be able to double-click the icon and access my file that way.  I just upgraded to Sage 50-2015 from the 2012 version and also upgraded my computer to windows 8.1 from windows XP.

Any help is appreciated.  Thank you

    That would be the reason. 

    If you put your files in a Microsoft-Approved location such as the Documents, or Shared Documents folders, the operating system should allow the Sage 50 software to access the data.
