so, are you selling something by weight, like kilograms of dirt ?

if so, in inventory, set the stocking unit of measure (UOM) as kg, then you can sell 10kg at 2.36/kg for a total price of 23.60

and the same thing for packages (like 10Kg of dirt), setup an item with a UOM of bag

and if you buy dirt by the Kg, repackage it, and sell it by the 10 kg bag, you can set that up too by setting the stock and selling UOM

do you deliver standard packages to the store, like 500g,1kg,2kg ?

or do you deliver a 376g package today, 379g tomorrow, 1.3kg the next day ?

if it's the first case, setting the proper stocking/selling unit of measure will work

With the invoice templates that Sage 50 uses, no, this can't be done.

With a Crystal Reports invoice and an addon program to print it, probably, it shouldn't be too difficult to add a subtotal.

With the XLGL invoice templates, well, they're Excel sheets so I would say a fairly sure yes, with a caveat of haven't tried it.
