Foreign currency invoices

Question

Hi, maybe a weird question but I want to make sure that I am doing the right thing here. 
 My client got a bunch of USD invoices which he paid through USD Paypal. The Paypal account is setup in his bank accounts. 
 I was wondering how to process the invoices: convert to CAD first, post the payment on the USD Paypal and exchange rate difference?

 You may want to follow the KB article below to setup the USD customer/vendor and then key in the USD invoices.

Hi Bettina, 
 If you do not see the foreign currency option in the the vendor record, you may not have setup your foreign currency. 
 You can follow the article link below for the steps to set it up. Then, you can create new vendor and select the currency used. FYI, once a vendor is used in a transaction, you cannot change the currency the vendor uses.
