Need to post a journal entry into Sage Simply Accounting first step?  Click on Tools > for my accountant > general journal to post a manual journal entry into your books.

History Mode

Sage Simply Accounting First Step does not allow you to set the opening balances for your chart of account.  To enter in an opening balance, simply do a journal entry in the general journal.
