Errors in the Terminal Server Logs

We recently upgraded from 7.30.2 to 7.40.2 and are noticing that the error that used to get logged with great frequency and has been discussed in other posts (without resolution I believe)

The description for Event ID ( 0 ) in Source ( Sage MAS 500 ) cannot be found. The local computer may not have the necessary registry information or message DLL files to display messages from a remote computer. You may be able to use the /AUXSOURCE= flag to retrieve this description; see Help and Support for details. The following information is part of the event: Application = Sage MAS 500 Business Desktop

 has gone away but has been replaced by the following which is getting logged at least 1x/day

Application = Sage ERP MAS 500 Business Desktop
Pane not found, Pane Key = Tasks.
   at Accounting.Framework.BusinessDesktop.ValidateDockManager()
   at Accounting.Framework.BusinessDesktop.SetDockManagerState(String DockManagerXML)

 Anyone have similiar experience or insight into this one?  TIA

  • We occasionally see the second error that you list on our 7.30.5 system running on Windows 2008 SP2 32-bit.   Since Windows Terminal Server doesn't provide user information in log file Error entries (at least not without 3rd-party tools), it's pretty difficult to track down the situation that resulted in the error.  I don't know if our users are seeing the error, whose activity is causing it, or what they might be doing when it happens.
