What are the requirements for the year 2016 1099 updates

As of 2016 tax filing year, we are no longer updating the standard 1099 forms printed from AP>Reports>1099 Reports>1099 Forms menu task.

Sage will be providing 1099 Stand Alone updates for these versions by mid-December:

2014

2016

The compatibility requirements for all three versions is to have the January 2016 Product Update installed.

The updates will be incorporated into the January 2017 Product Updates for versions 2014 and 2016 only.

Aatrix service will be utilized in this 1099 update. Customers will not need to purchase 1099 forms, and will be able to print 1099's using the Aatrix service and plain paper. Please review the Release Notes for details when 1099 updates available.
