Regular FR is much easier and much better in my opinion. With FR you are only limited to the number of lanpak licenses, with SAI you get 1 named license and you have to purchase additional licenses for additional users. You can download the SAI reporting add-in from the Sage Portal.

Is it easy to consolidations? i.e. add columns for each company

I tried it a couple years ago with 4 or 5 companies and the application slowed to a crawl.  It wasnt instant like F9 for example.

Each reporter has it's pros and cons. FR reports on one company only - that is it's weakness. There are workarounds but at the end of the day everyone must be happy with the solution. We use GL Consolidations and then report on the consolidated company, you can do reports with one column per company. FR is free, F9 is not.

The FR module is limited to GL reporting only. With Sage Intelligence you have several financial & operational  reports available to you out the box.
