Thanks Etienne. My first need was for cash flow in the month, so I made one based on my balance sheet report. I put last month and this month balances in adjacent columns and then finding the use of cash via subtraction, allowing for depreciation and amortisation, and using your approach to find the profit in the year. I used account groups rather than account ranges.

You can use =FRAMTA("NETP") to get the cashflow for the month instead of subtracting the 2 months.
