It's the same for any activex i try to drag in my forms for example IC1110 (IC items)

Are 2012 and 2014 installed at the same time on your development machine or is 2014 on a separate machine?

I have only 2014 install on the the machine i try to update my app.

Check your references, you probably have something pointed at the old version.  I know C# .Net forms are OK with 2014 controls, I did one just last week.

I try framework from 3 to 4.5.1 nothing work remove all reference always the same

Make a new empty Windows Form application, try it there. DotNet Framework 4 Client Profile works for me.

I'm not having any luck, either.  New WinForms application, .Net 4 (and .Net 4.5).  Dragged a datasource to the form.  There's a delay and then there's a tiny dot where the data source is.  Dragged a fec to the form, there's a delay and then VS2012 crashes.  New project, dragged AP1200 on to the form, long delay and then the same "Failed to import the ActiveX control" message.  I might try loading into a VM so the environment is clean.

Definitely go for a clean image.  But FWIW, my main system is totally not clean, and it works fine.

No it's not working i try x86 any cpu

i add the following in the post-build event

I found what was the problem. In version 2014 there is a missing file in the runtime folder ObjSafe.tld i copied it from 2012 version after that it work like a charm

I don't have that file anywhere except in a 5.3 runtime folder.  Jay - do you know where it comes from?

That's a typo, it's Objsafe.tlb, and it's in all my runtimes.

Hmmm - so then what did you install that I didn't?  Don't answer that.  I'll figure it out.
