& thanks for the reply but in IC Loc details, it shows Qty on S/O & P/O, as well as committed but not "on hand".

you might want to double check that you haven't accidently hidden it. Right click in the header of a column and you will see options.  if you see "RESTORE QUANTITY ON HAND" then you know that it was hidden.

But you should be able to see it.  You can also look in "Item Inquiry" which is part of "Ops Inquiry".

There definitely is a quantity column but it refers to quantity on order, quantity committed, and quantity on PO, depending upon the drop down choice from far right of screen shot. It is also true that I can drill down to quantity on hand IF there are and quantities on PO, SO, or committed. If not, the line remains blank and there is no way to drill down. I tried to paste a screen shot but I haven't quite figured that out yet (very new to this board).

Thank you! The Ops Inquiry did the trick. It was an option that was not yet installed. I found it, activated it and it is a wealth of data in one folder. Thanks so much for the tip!

You can't drill down to the quantity on hand, it's just there in front of you.
