Further to this. We have 100 T4 slips we need to ammend and we cannot issue them properly with Sage 300 Payroll. Will Sage fix this one day? It seems very unfortunate to have a payroll system that isn't able to process every aspect of the Canadian tax system. I thought we were covered for all the areas of Canadian tax by paying for updates and the most current versions, etc. I am not a very happy customer right now!

We don’t support the ability to edit Box 31 on T4s right now. We are looking at ways that we can support all boxes on the T4 in the future, possibly using a reporting service.  If you like, you can always suggest the ability to edit Box 31 on T4s via our Ideas page (www11.v1ideas.com/.../Top).

I think the user above recognizes that you do not currently support this,  He would not have made the statement if you did.  Your answer seems like a level 1 answer, however the issue needs to be escalated to payroll development team a lot quicker than the suggestions page.   If Sage wants to continue to maintain or expand it's market share with their Sage 300 & 500 ERP solutions to service mid to large market companies in the Canadian market place, they need to address the fact that Canadian payroll 7.0 does not completely support the tax filing requirements set out by the Canadian government.  

Payroll is without a doubt one of the largest areas that affect selection and implementation planning.  This lack of support could affect future decisions made by company executives to select Sage as it solution.
