Sage Upgrade

Hi,

We want to upgrade one of our Sage databases to Sage 2017, while maintaining the other databases temporarily on Sage 300 ERP 6.0. The network will be same but different application and database servers. Will there be any major issues?

2017 and 6.0 are 100% incompatible, so make sure any given PC can only access only one version or the other.

Hi Jay,

Thats what we plan to do. Users will have separate versions installed with no interchangeability. Just has to make sure if we can do it this way. Thanks for your feedback.

And make sure that your system databases are kept separate, too. Sometimes they get overlooked.
