Sage Portal Is not fully functional....

Hi all

I have encountered the following issue with the portal. any suggestions would be greatly appreciated:

I am using Windows 7 and use the portal in Google Chrome. I am able to log on to Accpac and open the company file but i am unable to do anything other than "Inquiry" within the company.

I tried re-installing the workstation software as suggested in the error message but i am still unable to use data. I tried disabling the virus software but that does not work either.

One other user of the portal continued to access the database and work in it. However, a short while ago, he notified me that he updated google chrome and the portal stopped working and gave him the same error msg: 

An unexpected error occurred when trying to open Invoice Batch List. Run Workstation Setup and try again. If the error persists, contact your Sage 300 ERP administrator for assistance.

Has anyone else had this problem? Were you able to solve it? If so, how?

    Our guy who handles our Sage product spoke with someone at Sage and they provided detailed procedures for getting chrome to work with sage. I am not sure of the steps but the portal is working again. Someone at Sage should be able to provide these steps?? I think he said it had something to do with Chrome settings and allowing pop ups. I will check if i can get the exact steps....
