Are you trying to import GL entries from XML when this error is happening? If it is then we have a HotFix that you can apply:

They are entering a GL batch at the time - no import at all.

This hot fix is included in Product Update 3 and PU3 is installed. The customer is very unhappy that we have not resolved this yet.

Should we use the following hotfix to resolve this:

HF28880_SM61A_PU3 (or was this only to fix Payroll)

HF28880_SM61A_PU3 is not specific to payroll but it does resolve that reported specific scenario. You can try the hotfix to see if it fixes the problemt. If that does not resolve your issue, perhaps at this point it would be good to contact Sage Support.

Our client has the same error.  Since applied the hot fix earlier this week they have not report any new occurrence.

FYI, if you're in any UI of 2012 PU3 that has a data entry grid, highlight a non-finder text box, and press Ctrl-C without anything in your clipboard, you'll crash the UI.  This is both before and after that hotfix.  I've reported it to R&D.

Further info - it happens on PU2, but not PU1.  And not at all on prior versions.  I suspect it's part of the new two color lines feature in the grid.

FWIW, 2014 build 0 has the same problem.  

We have just upgraded to v2014 and having the same error message particular on printing cheques.!!

For 2014:

Check in C:\Windows\Microsoft.NET\Framework which version(s) are installed:

If you see folder v4.0.30319 then run

C:\Windows\Microsoft.NET\Framework\v4.0.30319\regasm /register [sage300runtimefolder]\a4wcrinterop.dll

If you see folder v2.0.50727 then run

C:\Windows\Microsoft.NET\Framework\v2.0.50727\regasm /register [sage300runtimefolder]\a4wcrinterop.dll

After that I ran wssetup or reinstall System Manager.
