RMA & SO Quotes saved in history for reference

I have a customer with hundreds of Sales Order Quotes and RMA's in active data entry files.

The Quotes were never converted to orders and the RMAs were never received.

They would like to remove them from the "Open" files and place them in history for future reference.

Does anyone know of a way I can do this?

We were going to pdf them to paperless office (quotes) then delete the quote but the delete also deletes the pdf in paperless.

That's what I tried. but it deletes both the quote and the pdf in paperless office.

We want to preserve both the quotes and the RMAs in history for reference, just remove them from the "open" files.

Our deleted sales order quotes are saved in the sales order history files (sales order module setup options).

We don't have RMA, so I can't speak to that.

If you need to save the pdfs, you could move or copy them to somewhere else before deleting the quotes. Or print to pdf not using the paperless feature.

You know you could just make a copy of the pdfs (they are stored in a folder) before you delete the quotes.
