Vacation/Sick Time Carryover Hours

We allow employees to carryover a portion of their unused vacation/sick time based on a schedule we have set up and length of employment.  I have set up a benefit schedule to reflect the first year, and have vacation and sick pay accruing based on the rate table and length of employment.  However, the carryover for these does not change.  Is there a way to make this change or do I have to set up separate benefit schedule for each increase of employment in order to keep the carryover hours correct?

Our carryover balance is based on employment date and not year end.  We have a graduated vacation accrual, so first year employees earn less vacation than 5 year employees, first years would be 20 hours, whereas 5 year would be 60.  Sage has the vacation accrual rate table set up to accommodate the increased employment accrual time, but the carryover stays fixed in any benefit schedule.

The only way I can find to fix this issue is to set up separate benefit schedules for each graduation of the vacation accruals.

I think that is your only option for now.  Will have to wait and see if the 2018 version gives any hope.  I've got access to a beta copy.  Loading up the latest version.  Will let you know if I learn anything exciting.

Unless it is in a non-obvious place, I don't see anything for graduated carryovers out of the box.

However, since payroll will now be a business frameworks module, it unlocks the possibility of being able to to it with user defined scripts.
